Fifteen years ago, our family set out on a simple yet heartfelt mission to share a taste of Japan with the community of Salt Spring Island. What began as a small, humble venture has blossomed into a beloved local business known for our hand-crafted, authentic Japanese rice balls – OM-SUBI.
Inspired by traditional recipes passed down through generations, we carefully prepare each rice ball with love and attention to detail. From the selection of premium ingredients to the final touches, our goal has always been to offer wholesome, healthy, delicious food that nourishes our community. What started as a family project has grown into a true labor of love, and we’re proud to continue serving Salt Spring Island with the same care and dedication that we poured into our first rice ball all those years ago. |
